One simple interface provides for launching comminication programs, monitoring current and total online times, and logging of connection dates and times. Help for the Main Window ═══ Main window Service log The service log file to write connection dates and times to. Start Launch the communication program for this service. Online (Optional) Connected to the service. Offline (Optional) Disconnected from the service. When the communication program is launched with the Start button, the online time is automatically stopped upon exiting the communication program. Alarm (Enabled when registered) Minutes to warn of online time. A value of 0 disables the alarm. Service Access the Service information window. Config Configure program settings. ═══ 3. Help for the Service Information Window ═══ Service information Service log file The name of the log file to write connection dates and times to for this service. View View the service log file. Communication program The communication program used to access this service. Program parameters can also be specified. Find Locate the communication program on disk. Total online time The accumulated online time for this service. Reset day The day of the month to reset the total online time to zero. Automatic reset is enabled in the configuration notebook. Reset Reset the total online time to zero. Add Add the service information. Delete Delete the service information. Change Change the service information. ═══ 4. Help for the Configure Notebook ═══ Configure notebook Configures various settings and options for the program. ═══ 4.1. Help for Time Options ═══ Time options Update time The number of seconds to update the online time display. Increasing this number may benefit system performance. Reset total times monthly (Enabled when registered) Resets the total online times monthly. The total times are reset to zero on the day of the month defined for each service. ═══ 4.2. Help for COM Port Options ═══ COM port options Carrier detection If carrier detection is Disabled, manual Online and Offline buttons record connect and disconnect times. These buttons can also be enabled with carrier detection should the user wish to override automatic carrier detection. COM port The COM port the modem is attached to. Check for carrier How often the COM port is checked for a carrier. Increasing this number may benefit system performance. ═══ 4.3. Help for Window Options ═══ Window options Minimize on connect When checked, the main window will minimize upon establishing a connection and restore upon disconnection. Online time is displayed in the minimized title as well as the task list. ═══ 4.4. Help for Window Colors ═══ Window colors Background Apply the selected color to the main window. Foreground Apply the selected color to the main window text. ═══ 5. Ordering ═══ Ordering The registration fee is $19.95 for InfoLog or $34.95 for InfoMiles and InfoLog. A serial# enabling use of the software without reminder screens or functional restrictions will be issued upon purchase. Registrations remain effective for all future versions of the software. Updates will be uploaded periodically to relevant CompuServe forums, Internet sites and major BBS's containing fixes, enhancements, user requests and new additions to the software.
